📸 Image Data – How Your Photos Are Used

How your image is processed:

The only data processed is the 2D image file that you choose to upload. When you submit a photo:

Image transmission: Your image is sent to our secure backend to be processed by a large language model (LLM)
One-time use: The image is used solely to generate your cosmetic suggestions
Not stored: Images are NOT permanently saved, stored in databases, or retained after processing
No training: Your images are NOT used to train AI models

🚫 Biometric Data – What We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect or store biometric identifiers.

SkinCare does NOT collect, store, or extract:

Facial geometry or facial measurements
Facial recognition templates
Depth maps or 3D facial data
Any data that can uniquely identify a person
Biometric identifiers of any kind

The app processes only the 2D image you provide—no biometric extraction occurs.

✨ How Your Image Is Used

Your image is processed by an AI strictly to:

Analyze visual patterns like brightness, contrast, and general aesthetic attributes
Provide cosmetic, artistic, or style-based suggestions
Produce non-medical descriptions for your enjoyment

We do NOT use your image to:

Detect illnesses or medical conditions
Analyze or diagnose skin conditions
Extract biometric features
Perform facial recognition
Identify you as an individual

App Data

SkinCare does not require account creation and does not ask for your name, email, or phone number within the app. The app may store:

App preferences and settings on your device
Skincare routine notes you choose to save (stored locally on your device only)

You control what information you provide. We cannot access data stored locally on your device.

Apple: For in-app purchases and App Store services
AI Processing: Your 2D image is sent to our secure backend to be processed by a large language model for cosmetic suggestions. No biometric data is extracted.

Purchases and Subscriptions

All billing is handled by Apple. To manage subscriptions or request refunds, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Diagnostic or medical analysis data
