Introduction

Quitto ("the App") is an addiction recovery and habit-tracking application developed by Kaan YILDIZ (Precision Apps). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information You Provide

Profile Data: Your first name and quit date, stored locally on your device
Habit Data: Habit type, daily amount, cost per unit, and motivation text
Journal Entries: Personal journal entries you write within the App
Craving Logs: Craving intensity, triggers, and coping strategies you record
AI Coach Messages: Messages you send to the AI Coach feature

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect biometric data
We do NOT collect precise location data
We do NOT collect contacts, photos, or browsing history
We do NOT sell, rent, or share personal data for advertising
We do NOT use your data for AI model training

Data Storage

Local Storage

All personal data (profile, habits, journal entries, craving logs, milestones, and coach messages) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is not transmitted to our servers.

AI Coach Data

When you use the AI Coach, your messages are sent to a secure third-party AI service (OpenAI) to generate responses. These messages are:

Transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections
Not stored permanently by the AI service beyond the session
Not used to train AI models
Processed solely to provide you with a coaching response

Note: The AI Coach is not a medical professional. Its responses are for general wellness support only. All health-related information includes citations from recognized organizations.

Subscription Data

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and managed via RevenueCat. We do not have access to your payment information.

Health information in Quitto is sourced from recognized organizations including: American Heart Association (AHA), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), NIAAA, WHO, APA, ALA, FDA, Johns Hopkins Medicine, and Mayo Clinic. This information is for educational purposes only.

Your Rights

Access your data at any time within the App
Delete all data using "Delete All Data" in Settings
Opt out of notifications via iOS Settings

Children's Privacy

Quitto is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
