How does mushroom identification work?

Mushroom Identifier analyzes your photo and compares visual features against a mushroom knowledge base to suggest likely species. Identifications are best-effort suggestions and must never be used as the sole basis for deciding if a mushroom is safe to eat. Always consult local experts and foraging guidelines.

How can I improve mushroom identification accuracy?

Use natural lighting, capture the cap, gills or pores, stem, and the mushroom's surroundings, avoid blur, and photograph against a plain background. Taking multiple photos from different angles, including the underside of the cap, improves suggestions.

Are my photos stored or shared?

Your mushroom photos are used only for identification and are not stored on our servers.

How do I restore purchases?

Open Mushroom Identifier → Settings → Restore Purchases. Ensure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. If issues persist, contact support.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Mushroom Identifier → Cancel Subscription. Or visit reportaproblem.apple.com to manage subscriptions and request refunds.
