The short version: your days are yours. Already requires no account, shows no ads, and does not sell or share your personal data. The journal you write — every evening, every moment, every woven story — is stored on your device.
Deleting a day in the app permanently deletes it. Deleting the app deletes everything the app stored. Nothing is kept on a server, because there is no server-side journal — and no account to attach one to.
If you answer the guide by voice, Already listens only while you are speaking your answer, and uses Apple’s speech recognition to turn your words into text. Recognition runs on your device when your device supports it. The audio itself is not saved — only the written words become part of your day.
You can revoke microphone and speech recognition access at any time in the iPhone Settings app; typing works exactly the same.
The guide’s questions and your woven day story are generated on your device whenever your iPhone supports Apple’s on-device intelligence. When it doesn’t, the text of the answers you’ve written that evening is sent over an encrypted connection to our AI service, used only to compose the guide’s next question or weave your story, and then discarded. It is not stored, not used to train any model, and — since Already has no accounts — it is never linked to your identity or used to build a profile of you.
The evening reminder, if you turn it on, is scheduled locally on your device. It never leaves your iPhone.
Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account; we never see your payment details. We use industry-standard subscription infrastructure (RevenueCat) to validate purchases, which processes an anonymous app-user identifier and receipt data solely to manage your subscription.
Already collects no personal information from any user, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date above.
